We have listened and heard you. You have let us know you want to hear from us.

So welcome to the BAC Local 23 weekly email. This will be a quick read each week. We promise.

With just a few minutes of your time each Monday morning, you will be updated on how your union is working for you from job opportunities to new contracts to highlighting the amazing work you do.

Brick by brick, you help build our communities through projects large and small. You also give back so the places where you work are great places to live.

BAC Local 23 is a great union because of members like you, and we want this email to keep you informed and updated and to help tell your story.

Unions are built member by member just as buildings are erected brick by brick.

BAC Local 23 stands stronger, larger and more powerful today because we are standing on the broad shoulders of past and current members, and also because of the historic work of the locals that are now part of BAC Local 23.

Mergers are never easy, and we want you to know we are going to do everything in our power to honor the past so we do not forget, and to ensure new members understand how we became the strong union we are today.

Your input will be invaluable as we continue to shine a light on our past. We want to hear from you.

We want your feedback as we develop a new logo for BAC Local 23 that will give us all a feeling of ownership in our union. We will have more details in upcoming weekly emails.

We are also going to be mailing you a survey soon to find out how you want to hear from your union. We’ll let you know when that survey is going out so you can be looking for it in your mailbox. It will be short, simple and easy to fill out and return with an option to answer the questions on our website.

More than 55 BAC Local 23 members had a great time at the meeting/holiday party for the Central Ohio chapter, and 29 of the attendees were from the new Latino organizing effort in the Columbus area.
